Up to 6 months after birth or pregnancy ends
Infants & Children
Infants and children up to their 5th birthday
Requirements
Income Guidelines
Household income at or below 185% of Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
Residency
Must live in the state where applying for WIC
Nutrition Risk
Must be determined to be at "nutrition risk" by a health professional

WIC eWIC Card
Most states now use electronic benefits (eWIC) cards that work like debit cards at authorized grocery stores. The card is loaded with your monthly food benefits and automatically updates with approved WIC foods.

- • Birth certificate or hospital record
- • Growth records from doctor
- • Any medical documentation
- • Formula receipts (if formula feeding)
